I'd do the gutters too. It's probably cheaper than that much oil & filters.

seeing as I'm looking at possably ordering 6 gallons of 15-40, gallon of tranny fliud, and a gallon of 75-90 the bill will probably be hefty

That's not so bad I guess. I figured you would be ordering a drum of oil for the cummins. I end up doing an oil change about every 6 weeks - lots of driving.

one way to extend changes is with a by-pass filtration system.

the fleetguard stratopore filters I use filter to 5 micron, you can get a system that filters down to 2 micron. Ive been contemplating a system for a while. with one of these systems and doing oil analysis Ive seen guys go well over a year and a half without draining the oil.

I myself have been contemplating the same thing. THe only thing that has been keeping me from it is the $459 price tag that they want for the FS2500. I've just been contemplating if it's really worth it.
