Yes you can pull it no problem
10,000 pulling on tongue
16000 on fifth wheel safely ...I have seen others pull upto 23,000 with airbags, overload springs, and larger brakes

Better check the spec's from Dodge - whether or not you have a Mega, Quad, or regular cab, a 4WD, what tranny, and so on - ALL affect the specified towing capacity. Dodge says to check their website to see - since there are so many variables they apparently don't want to put them in the manual.
Xcomandos' comments leave out some important issues - tires and rims have to have the right load rating also if you're going to exceed Dodge's ratings, as an example. But it's risking a lot to exceed the mfr's rated capacity - not only safety but warranty issues...I am sitting across from a guy who towed a fifth wheel that exceeded the rated amount, and he burned out two tranny's and a rear end before he realized maybe Dodge knew what they were talking about...

Thanks for the web site. Very helpfull. If I totally load the trailer to its full capacity which in my case I will not I would be over by 670 pounds per safe specs. I sure am glad I did not opt for the 4 wheel model as it can not pull as much as 2 wheel drive, doesnt make any sense to me but I am relieved that my truck will be able to handle the load I am pulling, thanks agian guys. That is a great site!!! Wow...WTF, how does the Larime weigh less than the SLT? And tow 100lbs more? Could it be the AL rims vs. the steel?

Opinions are like butts, everybody has one and they all stink. So here is mine stinker. I would never match up a trailer that has a GVWR higher than what I can safley tow by the tow vehicle specs. For sevral reasons first of which is safety. There is no question your truck will "pull" the load easliy. Whether it will stop it, turn it, or handle it in an emergency is a whole different ball of wax. Then ther is the longeity of the tow vehicle towing at or past max specs. In my travels I have seen several trucks / vans and campers turned over in the road. It is not a pretty sight.

Like I said just my stinker of an opinion.
