guage pod on the a-pillar is the best way. there are aftermarket parts you can add on that will make adding the guages easier... my ats manifold has 5 ports for whatever you want. it's setup already for the boost guage. there are trans pans that allow for the tranny temp sensor. the egt... well, you have to drill the hole for the probe.

I have the edge which has 2 of the 3... would be nice to have all 3.

ok ive found some sets that mount in a pilar pod thanks for the reply. I dont think im goin to do any mods two many risks and they outweigh the neck snapping, i bought the truck for the econemy (well economical for a 1 ton) and this thing has plenty of power.

if economy is your goal out of a 1 ton truck, then there are a few mods you can do, 1 is a rokktech sensor, this will add some timing to it and give you about a 1 mpg boost (from my research) http://rokktech.com/_mgxroot/page_10437.html another is an ATS intake, It is supposed to boost torque 59 ft lbs @ 1750ish rpms... this would help on the hiway. I have one on and noticed a nice boost in the low end which should help mileage. (I'm working on mileage #'s now with it installed). Another mod would be an AFE drop in filter (pro guard one). do these and i'd expect easily 1~2 mpg bump.

Then on top of that if you use the mix of 16 oz power service diesel (PSD) and 8 oz of marvel mystery oil (MMO) you'll get another 1~2 mpg boost. Some claim 3 mpg, I see 1 mpg consistantly. It pays for itself plus it makes your motor run smoother.

ok i know about (PSD) but marvel mystery oil?? sounds like a 70,s thing for old wornout engines . any waranty concerns with this mix? i understand the more lubricity in the fuel the smoother it will run. What is the ratio mix for a 35 gal tank, how much PSD?mystery oil per gal.

I put 16 oz PSD & 8 oz MMO per ~30 gal fillup. easy numbers to remember and fills an empty PSD to 24 oz quite easily...

Where do you get your PSD? Auto zone, K-mart, Wal-mart? Or the "net" I would think shipping would kill the price.

MMO I know about. I have always used Stanidine. (love the smell)

Looks like after th ULS diesel comes out we will HAVE to add this mix and maybe even more MMO. Like 16 to 16? Guess we will have to cross that bridge when we get to it.

I get them both from walmart. MMO is currently yanked from the walmart shelves because of a labeling issue, same thing the psd went thru.

I wonder if ATF will do till the MMO comes back.... Lots of old timers used to put a quart in with every 250 gallons it does make your fuel look like non taxed fuel was int there

Got to love the smell of that home heating oil. Now even my Home heating fuel/oil is low sulfur. You can tell when you clean it. MUCH less crusty yellow deposits.

you should be able to get MMO @ an autoparts store. Walmart is just covering their butts by yanking it. They yanked the PSD a while back for the same reason.
