Does this just plug in and go? Do you really need the extra guages too?

It just pugs in no tools needed.

I just picked one up this weekend at the "Texas Trophy Hunters Show" in Ft. Worth. I think this a great addition for the price (special "Show" pricing). I am still on the fence about gauges, I drive pretty easy and only tow a 4000 pound trialer aorund the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and once a year a 8000 pound trailer to Southern Colorado and back with my sons Boy Scout troop.

I may get the SRT 10 Pillar with the dual Westach EGT/Boost guage.

Did I mention this is great[sm=bounceybounce.gif] it did just what I wanted in terms of power I'll have to report back on any milage increases. We will be taking a 900 mile trip to Indiana the end of the month and will get some numbers then.

Just returned from our trip. With the Qaud XZT and PS/MMM (Drews Brew) my hand calculated milage was 17.1 to 17.6 MPG.

I was hoping for better, I had the cruise control set on 75MPH and the RPM were just over 2000.

I noticed when checking my odometer against the milage markers that every couple of markers that the odometer may be off a little for every four miles my odometer would be off by 2 tenths.

I'll bet I was getting better MPG then this guy we passed, we pulled over at rest stop and I took his picture as he rolled by.

now thats a travel trailer. . .from the looks of it he may be over his GCVWR with that car on the roof like that.

with the xzt I realy wouldnt worry too much about gages since it is locked in on one setting, but it would be good to have them if you are pulling alot so you know when to get out of the throttle if things start getting hot.
