3.50 Gears for 2005 CTD?
Does anyone know where I can buy 3.5 differential gears for my 2005 Dodge Diesel 2 wheel drive 6 spd manual?
Also is it an American axle 11.5?
I tow a small traller and I don't need the new lower gearing. I currently have 3.73s which I am told with the new tranny it is like have ing 4.10s

Thanks MikeyB. How do you like your 2003 I had an 03 Auto an decide to go Manual. Loved that truck and love this one as well.
I am considering 33" tires for the gearing change since I cannot find anyone with 3.50s. I would love the 3.40s. The larger tire size would drop my RPMs a couple of hunder which would be a little better. I only Pull a small trailer and am looking to pull a small fifth wheel. So I do not need the xtra power of the lower gears...
Did you notice anything with the RokkTech installed? Mileage wise. What did you get before and what do you get now???

AAM does make higher gears for the 11.5 axle. Go to their web site and see for your self. Sorry I don't have the link handy. All you have to do is find a parts outlet for them, and when you do let the rest of us know because I am interested too.

The Rokktech help in the lower rpm range, 2k and below. I didn't see a change in fuel economy, but it did drop my EGTs.
AAM website does show different gear ratios for the 11.5", but they don't make them, unless a large corporate contract is place for other ratios.

I received an email from AAM, Looks like January is the time. 3.42s will be great....
"Your interest in AAM product is much appreciated.
At this time, 3.73 and 4.10 are the ratios available from AAM. However,
there will be a 3.42 available in early 2007.
You can check back with me in January and I will provide updated info.
Thank you for your inquiry,
Bill"

Could you PM me with the email address? I wanna ask about the gears as well, and ask if they will have matching set for the front diff for us 4x4 people. Thanks.
