Default black smoke under load

I have a 2005 3500 diesel. It only has a airade intake and a 5 inch magnaflow exhaust. My problem is that it blows black smoke and sounds like it is misfiring. under load. I took it to the dealer and they can't figure it out. Help me!!!!!

get them to do an injector isolation test, you may have one that is sticking open.

second of all check your oil and make sure the level is where it should be, if you have a stuck injector you will be 'making oil' so to speak.

You wanna see black smoke under load?

I live right outside a city where welfare and poverty are imported. And without getting into specifics, there's a "group" of people who think that the streets belong to them when they are walking and pedaling. You know the usual, J-walking, riding your bike 10 feet off the curb while chatting on the cell. Anyway, I have a #10 plate, and my Bosch pump a friend and I rebuilt, and added #92 delivery valves. I have a true 5 inch exhaust from the turbo back. No air freshener, no muffler. I have my tip strategically aimed so it hits whatever is next to the rear corner of the bumper.

As soon as someone on a bike makes a dumb move, or they step off the curb and make the car in front of me spike it brakes,.......... As soon as my front end is about 10 feet away, I mash the pedal to the floor. When I get the whole truck past you, you've been "tagged".

I can only describe what comes out of the tail pipe as a gigantic, Wagner Power painter gone mad.............lol. And guess what Kemosabe.......the paint color was flat black. It looks like a steam locomotive pulling a grade. My hand to God I have put people into the curb because they can't see. I can bring a single lane of traffic behind me to a dead stop cause the fog rolled in.

If you're parked on that right side and blocking traffic......when I go around you, Im gonna bury you in soot. You'll be so dark....fireflies will follow you during the day. I can't tell you how many times I powder puff a brother and all of a sudden, coming thru the cloud he's chasing me.

Oh well, it really is impressive how I have the timing down to a science. I can even adjust for windage. I should video tape it some time. Just so you can see how stupid people really are. (wink).

Adios!

That is frickin great...... if you tape it I would definetly want a copy of that.....My truck will leave a cloud of black smoke from a sit still so if I line it up with a car just right and they have their window down I can smog out the interior....LMFAO.........

Ok I have found out what some of the problem is. It's the airade intake it was plugged with bugs and dirt. I will go to the dealer and get the injectors done. Thanks for the replies. I also have smoked some people out at traffic lights. It really is quite funny.[:'(]
Thanks Again

AJ, you should see it when the local power stroke hot rodder and I get together now, we shut down 4 lane intersections for fun now.

in order for me to make good smoke I have to set the TST to 7-5, but dangit if the clutch just cant hang so I just site there smoking like a skeeter sprayer gone mad

Drew
Ok just got the truck back from the second dealership and they could find no faults with the injectors. They did the load test and it was fine. They won't work on my truck anymore before I take the exhaust and air intake off. I think that is bs but what do I do?
