Hello All

I am new to this forum and am thinking about purchasing my first dodge. I have been a ford guy thus far in my life, but am taking a very good look at a new 2500 4x4 ram. I am not familiar with diesels and am just wondering the up and downside of a diesel. How do dodges hold up

Go for it and don't look back!

I traded my '04 SD for this truck and am very pleased with it. The overall build quality and fit and finish is much better than my SD.

Get the CTD and you'll be a happy camper.

 

the CTD rocks, if your going to get one, i'd recommend getting one built before 1/1/07... anything after that date will have alot of emissions crap on it that will drive the price up as well as the repairs. how much? who knows but from what i've heard the cats alone are pretty expensive.

I just got my dodge 1.5 weeks ago and love it. The 2500 4x4 with CTD is great, best truck I ever had.

 

I have been a Ford man and still have a lot of respect for Ford, but once I got in the Dodge CTD, I din't have a need to go back.

One of our mechanics at Moss Landing harbor had a Diesel Ford, he use to harrass me every time I saw him, putting my Dodge down and bragging about his pumped up Ford. -----------------------well guess what? now he drives by me and SMILES, in his Dodge CTD, I need not say more!

Whats up dollar for dollar the cummins diesel is the best powerplant for any truck. You will be very happy with this motor,and also happy with all the go fast goodies you can buy for it.I own a 03 dodge ram 3500 dually with a 5.9 cummins and I love it when a mustang or rice burner likes to challenge ,the look on their face is shocking as all they see is smoke. Trust me youwill love it

 

You can build them up big time fairly cheap!...Vette's hate seeing my DTD *** up on them [8D]
