good dealership story
ORIGINAL: Mayfair
In all fairness, I think if you had a good experience, not only should you give us a heads up, but put a feather in the guy's cap as well. Send the dealer, the head office, wherever, an email letting them know how happy you are with this guy. It only takes a minute, and if it'll help keep a good egg around for the rest of us, we'll all owe ya one.
Just a thought ....

We need to get a sticky up there that has locations of the dealerships that we have had good and bad experiences with.
I can't remember the site that lets you do the map pin point thing. Maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about.

Yep, thats a good idea. This one is named Dodge Country, located in Killeen Texas. This is the home of Fort Hood, so soldiers are the biggest part of their business. I just thought that it was good business to do what the service manager did,,, after all, he could just looked at me and shugged his shoulders.
Just left killeen with a mega cab from dodge country 3 months ago ,bought three trucks from them they realy do try hard to get it right . Larry moody is service manager and Michele was my service advisor they even helped me with a lemon and bought it back after dodge was being a pain in the a##
I told them this is no way to treat a disabled vet, and a reapeat customer, I have enough problems to deal with ,and the owner called dodge and got it worked out
millitary dealerships get a lot of flack but in killeen these people are to be trusted (pretty rare these days)

Thats true,, its been my experience that military installations are magnets for swindlers. Case in point, the Chevy dealership that sits right next to Dodge Country. The day I bought my CTD, I was in the Chevy dealership. They pi$$ed me off so bad that got irately mad and began yelling [sm=icon_flaming.gif] about 2 or 3 soldiers walked out rite behind me. I saw one of them in the Dodge store, and he said that they were trying to do the exact same thing to him.
I agree with Mayfair about letting the upper level know when your pleased.
We were on a trip to Utah and had dinner at a local restaurant which is part of a nationwide chain.
The staff were friendly, courtious and friendly.
After we returned to the motel, I sent an email to the corp headquarters informing them about our experience.
They sent me one back thanking me for the info and suggested the next time Im in the area, to meet the mamager.
I did and the meal for our group was free.
