I never really ran my edge on 5 much... 1/2x max. the tst set at 3/9 put the edge to shame so depending on what you want from your truck will determine which way to go. if your looking for power to have on tap when you need it, go with the tst. it is setup to grow with your mods better than the edge IMO... also keep in mind i've had 2 days with it in so far...
