Default remote starters??????????

can you get a remote starter for diesles?? That is the only thing I miss from my old ford. I loved coming out in the morning on the -30 days and having the truck already warmed up.

Do they have them for diesles

You sure can.

Most of the better ones have diesel programs or have a connection that goes to the WTS light.

Remote start is the cat's meow. I've had it on the wife's last few vehicles and keep kicking myself for not getting it.

This one is definitely getting it................as soon as they get it all fixed or replaced. [:@]

Uh yeah.........new CTD, tranny, t-case, exhaust, etc. Now it has a coolant leak, or should I say several. I found 2 of them that tI kind of put a band-aid on. There is definitely another one on the oppposite side, but have to wait until DC gives me the dealer that they want to service the truck. It's all part of the process.

I have the Final Notice into DC right now. They received it on Sep 22 and have 30 days to make one final repair attempt. After that, they have to replace or repurchase the truck.

Joy!

Anyways, back to his post, I don't wanna steal his thunder.

I just didn't wanna steal your thread brother. [sm=smiley20.gif]

That's pretty much the point it's at. DC received the official Final Notice, so they have one more attmept to repair all deficiencies or they have to replace it or buy it back.

This is actually a GREAT question !! I too had one on my Ford and it was the one thing I REALLY REALLY REALLY missed on my Dodge. I actually DO have it installed, it came with the Viper alarm when it was installed, however it didn't delay the start so I never used it for fear of hurting something. I wonder if Viper offers something now?

Steve .... how much is that system that you gave a link to?
Where are you getting it?

a local shop near work... www.sundancecaraudio.net they quoted me $465 installed plus approx $65 for an add on to open my tonneau cover. I've had 2 alarms installed with them already so I think he's giving me some free add ons. not 100% sure though what he's adding.
