Names Dana age 55. Fire Fighter - 5 yrs to retirement.
Vernon, Conn.
1ST. Diesel bought it Jan. 02.
98 Quad Cab. SLT
Green.
Tanneau cover
Rhino Bed Liner.
Had exhaust changed to Stainless Steel,But don't know what type. Sounds Great.
Al little rust on bottom of doors, other that that, the truck is in great shape.
Chrome Tube Running boards.


Having problem with TPS. RPM's serging at 45-50 100-200 rpm. I have to either replace or clean it.

retired from Civil Service
So Cal location
Truck is an 05 silver
4 spd 3.73 gears
w/30000 on clock
basically stock
Only mod so far is Airraid Jr
w/MIT
Replacing MIT with Torque tube

the best advice I can give Curtis is work hard and keep your nose clean. . .if your wanting a Cummins powered ship look for an older 12 valve for cheap and fix it up

that was my idea kind of, to buy used and kind of customize and fix it as i go. is there a reason behind the 12 Valve and not the 24 valve or the common rail? i dont know the difference but i have heard that the 12 will produce more power.
it sucks for me though because no one wants to hire a minor, only 10 days till im 18 though so i will have more than a couple apps going in Sat and Mon.
