I took out the resonator/cat or whatever that thing is, and added a short Magna Flow w/ a 18" tip.
Edge Juice box with the additude controller in an overhead mount.
Airaid intake.
Custom made Ruff Tuff seat covers.
Under the bed all aluminum toolbox.
I think thats about it.

Hello everyone.. I'm new to the game of diesel so bare with me.. I just got my hands on a 2006 mega cabslt 2x4. Bone stock when it comes to the engine and electronics.

you definately need a bed liner in that thing. . . .mine got scratched up in no time hauling trans jacks and cherry pickers so I could do some work on my yoda

 

I'm about to buy my first diesel!!!! 2005 3500 4x4. It has the banks six gun already installed.The only problem is that the owner said that the failsafes are making the six gun revert to stock performance due to a sensor.Does this sound right? Is it a simple fix?Costly? He said that it was the sensor that measures the exhaust gas temperatures. I am new to the whole diesel world, so I don't really know the lingo.

 

If it is truly just a sensortry to get him to get it repaired under warranty. I would be cautious,
I've read on this forum that the Banks systems rely on pressure increases to get the added power, increased pressure, increased chances for damage.

my 93 is the first diesel Ive owned.

nuttin special done to it. I have fixed a few things on it. its the last year of the 1974 body style.

i drive it daily for work (self employed).

it had 325k miles on it when I bought it. just rolled over another 8k.

the truck was abused, broken in to, and left for parts. a local diesel mechanic grabbed it from auction or elsewhere and I was told about it. 5 g's isnt too bad for it I guess.

It has a new injector pump, and massa cyl. probably should get a new turbo for it. feels like the squirls about had it...
