47 with 5 kids 3 of these are boys 19, 17& 13 ...mistake, putting the older two in race cars ... now everything is a race car... these guys can tear some sh#* up ... you know clutches tranny's engines etc.

97' 2wd long bed king cab with automatic ... bought it about 2 years ago with 77k now has 112k bone stock work machine
bought it to haul the race car on friday nights... itgets better fuel mileage with the trailer and car behind it than the V8 F150 did empty

78 Datsun 210 we built this inot a 1/4mile asphalt oval car ... it is one of the3 or 4fastest ones in the pure stock 4 cyl class
83 supra with celica 4 cyl ... another 1/4 mole car ... funny we still have work to do to get it as fastas the Datsun

Bob in Montana here. Just picked up my first diesel, an '07, last Monday. Quad cab short box 4x4, bighorn package, bright red, fold flat load floor with the 5.9 Cummins, 6 speed manual, and limited slip rear. The dealer also tinted the front windows. In the 48 hours I've had the truck, the following mods have been decided on:

1. Steps or nerf bars are a necessity. Either that, or buy a short stepladder for my wife.
2. This state requires mudflaps if the bumper is 20" or more from the ground.
3. A good, heavy duty grille guard to keep the deer away from my beautiful truck!!
4. A spray in bedliner.
5. Banks Performance intake.
6. She says, "put a chip in it!" - who am I to argue?
7. More to come as I read this forum...

She needed a car today (we carpool), so she's been out tooling around in it... I've got separation anxiety.

 

Ohhhh don't even worry.. I'm getting ready to put in a line-x liner before this May. Too bad it runs 580
