Default WOO HOO,, its ready

Called the dealer today,,, my trucks gonna be ready by 1700,,, YIPPPPIEEEEE. All in all, even though the service writers are jerks,, the service manager at this dealership is really a standup guy, he really does a great job. I'm gonna thank him for getting this done so quick, and for being good enough to tell me that I could use this rental 4 days past what the service contract pays for and then being willing to ship my truck from central Texas to central Louisiana. As my dad would say, " you cant beat that with a stick", lol.

[:@]DOHHH!!![:@] OOOOOOK, talked to the service dept. at 1630, they had replace the ECM, and the engine actually ran,, But wouldn't you know it, it throws a code. It appears a sensor (they didn't say which one) has shorted out and has to be replaced,, sooo, I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon. Oh well, as long as it's fixed.

I finally got it back come to find out, it wasn't a sensor. It was the main fuse panel under the hood that completely shorted out. That explains how the ecm wasn't protected and burnt up. My question still is,,,, what caused this in the first place? they couldn't tell me,, but, OH WELL, it's fixed.

riiiigt, riiiight. It was the flux capacitor in series with the current regulator. But it states in Pathagoreoms Therom, the unless these lines are congruent, there will be a modified short,,,,,,,ummm,,,,,,,,errrrr,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,. yeah. Anyway, its fixed, and I'm happy.
