#1, pull the valve cover off and check the valve lash, .010 intake, .020 exhaust. if it hasnt been done yet.

#2. if you look at the injector pump there will be an 8mm allen screw. pull that off and then you will see in there a star wheel, crank that bad boy up a little bit it will give you more power. next would be heading over to TST and picking up a boost elbow, and a #100 fueling plate.

all these thigns will give you better power to tow your jeep, but your mileage might go down a bit.

If it hasn't been done, tab the KDP. Get some gauges on it, slide the fuel plate forward, 3K GSK, 4" exhaust, boost control, bump the timing to 15*. If it's an auto, a performance torque converter works wonders, although at that mileage I'd rebuild/upgrade the trans, while it's out.

I used a Dremel tool and ground it off, then with the AFC out of the way unscrewed it with vise grips. Just put a rag in the hole to keep chips out. You're supposed to be able to drive a small torqz bit into it and unscrew it that way, but I couldn't make that work. Lots of info here; http://www.cumminsdatabase.com/read.php?id=58

if you can go full 4 inch from the turbo back your engine will thank you. your EGT's will go way down and you wont sacrafice performance.

Isn't your truck the same year adn model as Diesel Demon's ? If it is, your in luck ..... BIG TIME !!! Not only does it seem as though he's done a ton of mods, but he's also very willing to share his experiences and knowledge here.

Today just may be your lucky day my friend !!
