Do any of these add fuel mileage and which ones? Do you have to have them on the low settings to get the fuel mileage increase?or on the higher settings? What if you left it on higher settings but just drove casually? Can you do this or is it too hard on everything still? (what i mean is if I left a programmer on high settings and my wife uses truck sometimes to drive acrooss town to work will it still be hard on engine on high setting)? or what are the consequences?

i too been thinking bout a chip..but dont know which one.... i want a banks one... edge would be a second or bullydog... but other than that im not sure... but which one can be reversed so that it wont leave a trace to not void the warrnty?

Smarty is the only one that I know of that does not leave a trace. Check it out at Mads Electronics.
Just posing a question?? If you were you CEO/president/owner of Cummins and you kept replacing engines because of aftermarket chip/programmers and it was coasting you a great deal of money to replace would you develop procedures to determine when a chip/programmer was used to determine if that was the cause of the engine failure?? Or would you just keep replacing engines??

that development cost may exceed the costs of replacing motors. I have not heard of too many motors getting swapped out because of a chip or programmer.
