Default Aero on the way!!

Well after reading all the hype of Aero turbine I am cutting out the Banks monster and going with the Aero 4040XL Kit which includes the stainless angled cut tip. Hope it sounds good!!! Kinda worried about the cab drone I have also heard about. Can anyone give some input on the drone with the Aero?? Also, I find my truck has a rough idle along with a white cloud of smoke in the mornings.[:@] Do any of you have this problem also??? Any input would be great!!!

Dude ... don't worry about it at all !! I don't notice a drone sound at all. In fact, most of the time I don't even drive with my raido on just so that I can listen to my Ram !!

Your gonna LOVE it !!

My truck idles like a horny kitten,, ummm, errrr,, whatever thats like. anyways, I've had the aero for about 4mts now, and haven't noticed any drone, I love the sound and the tip looks awesome. Gee, Steve, it's okay to be last,,, I mean, someone has to be there. I mean, after all, I was the FIRST to have the aero, but it's okay, you'll get to play too,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,someday. J/K, I know how torturous it is, and don't feel too bad, I had to drive 7hrs loaded down pulling a freakin car behind me without my programmer,,,, ahhhh, the prices we pay for fame.

Where are you guys purchasing, on line?
if so what are you paying, where, and let us have some pic's, did you install yourself etc etc.(how long, special tools?)
Just a bunch of dumb questions for the new guy
PS. does the system include the intake, if so have you removed the silencer rings or does Aero supply all new intake tubing?

Thanks from the new guy

I got mine from Verocious, look on the right side of your screen and you'll see there ad. I payed $200 if I remember correctly. Then I had a local shop install it. Its not a complete exhaust system, I just got the muffler and tip. 4040xl with 5" tip.

Thanks usafr!

I notice there is a muffler, resonator and tip.
Or, resonator and tip.
In the pic it does not show three parts to the muffler, resonator and tip - are the muffler and resonator one?
You have the resonator only, (assumtion)
I will have to wait for pay day and get my order in ASAP, as she is stock, I too don't listen to the radio much just enjoy the "hood harmony".

Thanks again.
