Don't forget that these new engines also must use CJ-4 compliant low ash motor oil. If you don't you clog the EGR system and the particulate filter. Supposedly the new Shell Rotella T CI-4 will help reduce sludge in ALL diesel engines....though I am gonna wait before trying it!

I just still cannot believe that they are going from 500ppm to just 15ppm, seems like such a massive jump! I wonder what the fallout from this will be, like the MTBE fuel that were forced into that lead to polluted ground water!

On the new ULSD fuel they CLAIM the refineries are adding lubricity and stability additives to make the new fuel compatible with '06 and older engines. Though I think I will add my own for a while to make sure! Drew's Brew for all !!

Iam so glad I loved here now!!! Geeeze, youd think they could direct thier attention to something that effects our air abit more than my truck. But they need thier money, we might as well give it to them. I just hope that everything Ive heard is true, if my motor craps out in a year Iam really going to be pissed!
