I don't know how the hell you throw a rod on that thing, maybe miss a shift and hold it to the floorboard for 5 min. Got another one I'll post tomarrow, was just towed in.

 

I no tech or anything, and my eyes aren't all that good.... but is that hole with all the jagged edges around it supposed to be there?

 

I need to see if I can get some pics I took on my phone up here. . .we had a freightliner (detroit 60 series) come in for a new engine, #3 cylinder(I think) blew up and punched a hole completely threw the block, you could see strait threw it.

the best vid of an 8v92 I ever saw was when I was in school. these guys removed the govenor and cranked her up, rpm's went to somewhere around 8000 when the heads blew apart.

 

Yep, That'll buff right out....

 

That's gotta be screaming, they're loud at 2000 and sound like they are gonna come apart. Sorry, no pics as was promissed, camera died. Will get them for you on wednesday.
