OK, so yesterday i was playing with the TST on the way home and discovered mine seems to have the torque settings work while the power is set to 1... meaning 1/3 is stronger than 1/1 and 1/2. kinda suprised me as I was under the understanding that the torque did not work with power set to 1. anyone else see this? I have the CR 49 programming (I think).

lol, dude you suck! are you short shifting that thing or what? I have to drive like my grandpa's grandpa to get 15's. I realize the tires have a great effect on mileage but damn I miss the regular 15's/16's... I suppose I could always put back on the stock intake kit... [:@]... not! (I refuse to... but I may do it to see what the difference is with the aero on there on mileage).

HAHAHAHA, I drive like a teenager and I get 18mpg consistently. Wanna swap programmers for a month and see if it makes a difference????

lol, no it's those bicycle tires you have on there... hahaha... mine used to get 17's and sometimes 18's with the stock tires & rims. lifted 2" in front, 33's on and bam, mileage dropped abour 3~4 mpg. If I went back to the stock setup, i'd bet i'd be in the 18's/19's for mileage.

I'm wondering if you popped in some 4.10's to reduce the strain on the drive line if that would help. yes you would be turning more RPM's, but the engine would overall work less.

I thought of that, when I did 4.11's in the 2000 ram it helped out alot. the motor seems to make plenty of power for the difference in tire size. sometimes it feels close to the way (power wise w/o the box... just the intake stuff & exhaust) it was before the tires. at 65 it's turning approx 1800, 70 it's closer to 2000 so I dont know how much 4.11's would help. Plus, i'm not willing to plunk down the $1500 to do the gear swap like I did on the 2000.

HAHA Steve, very funny, to laugh. Youre right though, these stock tires are skinny, I can't wait to change for something wider and a little taller.
