Default Stolen

Well I have had my truck stolen. It is killing me that I have lost it. The rat bastards stole it while I was at work right out of my drive way and no one even noticed anyone taking it. I seriously doubt i'll see it again and I know the insurance will not give me what it's worth. Screwed all the way around. It was the most trouble free vehicle I have ever owned. I have to say for having 180,000 and only having to replace one lift pump (was getting ready for the second one). If anyone needs a new in box lift pump I might know where you can get one lol.
I'm not sure i'll buy another one since I am now married and we will be working on having kids (hoping to work at it alot ).

Well i'll quit my babbling now.

Why not share what city it was stolen in, and give us a pic or detailed description - you never know, maybe someone on this forum will see it...

Yeah, give us the details. I happen to notice every dodge diesel that drives by.

You never know, and it can't hurt.

Well I live in Las Vegas and I found out the we are #2 on the vehicle theft list. It's a 1998.5 4X4 quad cab and it's dark Brown metallic with the silver rockers. It has a diamond plated tool box. The wheels are Ultra, tires are big O AT and it has tinted windows. Also Sirius satellite with the antenna in the center of the roof above the rear view mirror. The Plate Number (if they are stupid enough to be driving on them) NV Vetran plate 4576.

I have a pic but it's larger than the 500mb.

I will keep you all posted on the outcome but I am not very optimistic.

I could be a couple of different scenarios. Your local idiot car theif,, who is probably still driving it. Your more expert car theifs that steal a car, sell it to a shop that hacks it and sells parts. And then there are the more expert shops that remove the vin and replace it,, the car is sold somewhere and some unsuspecting person buys a used car and drives it around for a while and are finally told that the car was stolen, and they have to give it up. Either way,,, it just plain sucks,, thats why I have insurance, and gap coverage on both of my vehicles. Still though,,, it would have been fun for you to catch them in the act.
