Speakle, I'm with you. My Mega cab 2X4 is the same way. I have pulled a 1/2 ton truck on a trailer (bumper pull trailer) and it still was not level. I do not plan on pulling a D6 dozer or nothing so if it works out for you let me know so I can look in to it...............

I pull a trailer everyday, its only about 3,000 or so. I got the diesel because I was getting about 10 mpg with my old v-8 gasser and now I get 16mpg with only 5k on the truck. I like your idea steve, any ideas on a rim/tire combo? I have looked at rims but damn I just get a little flustered. I see a good looking rim but not sure if it work on my truck......

the one problem with my suggestion is if your towing will the tires be able to handle the added weight of the trailer. the trucks come stock with 10 ply tires IIRC which are about as durable as you can get. the other thing to also consider is the rim, it too needs to be able to handle whatever you expect to toss at it. I was talking to a guy a few years back who I bought my MT classic II's from and he mentioned that he had a cheep rim on his truck before upgrading to the rims I bought off him and one of them didnt have a high enough weight rating and it developed a crack and ultimately became junk. that was why he went to the MT's.
knowing your towing will change things a little, just make sure whatever you use for rims & tires can handle the wieght.

I also found a guy on ebay that offers the same spacer, seems they are out there but you have to look. I am thinking I will just use the spacers, something about lowering the truck that goes against my better judgement. I dont do it often but there are going to be some times that I will haul some hefty loads. When I do get them I will post before and after pictures as well as a step by step install. I am so damn busy right now so it will be a few weeks. Thank you for the responses.

Hello, I'm new here but I was also looking to level my truck. All the kits I've found said not for 2wd 2500/3500.
I was trying to find out if the spring diameter for 2wd and 4wd are they the same? If so there should be no problem using the daystar kit. Then again I found a kit on EBAY that was steel. The manufacture was trying to discredit the poly-urathane kits talking about the spacer going flat with the weight of the diesel engine.
