The ones I've seen glue on just like the window vent shields.

What kind of flares are you guys talking about, Ive considered putting a set of foctory Power Wagon flares on my truck. I don't want to get to carried away meaning I don't want a set that sticks way out. I would just leave them black and with my silver truck it will match the black molding across the doors.

these dont glue on... they have double sided tape plus they are bolted in. the install was easy... MAKE SURE YOU PREP WELL!!! I let my son do the rears and the tape separated so it needs to be re-done. the fronts are still fine. depending on your lift & axle placement, you may have to trim them some.

Steve's right, they use double sided tape. My bad! A body shop guy I know puts them for the dealer.

oops ment to say to make sure the surface is really clean... use alchol on it to make sure you have all the oils off before you apply the flares.

I'd also be interested in which flares you have Steve. They do look nice on your truck.
I've been looking at them but, there's so many it's hard to know which would be the
better one.

I would assume they all come unpainted ?
