if you got the FASS-I, you can bypass the stock filter without worrying about it, the FASS-II would still need the stock filter since it is sold with only the pump.
See, theis is where I start to get confused.

YOU mention a FASS I and a FASS II, but when I go to certain sites they mention a FASS 95 and a 150, they also mention 45gph models so on and so forth. When I go to FASS.com they don't really have ANY info at all. Is there a website that you can reccomend that I go to to read about the whole FASS system and not just prices? I'd like to know about what I'm buying before I buy it.

Stupid question number 499. If the 95 can truely pump 95 GPH, how could you ever need any more? At a rate of 95 GPH you would empty a 30 gallon tank in <20 minutes. Are there really any mods that would make a 5.9L engine use fuel at a rate more than 95 GPH or even approach that?

Ok as far as th install goes the system was pretty easy I mounted it under the bed right behind the cab. Missing items include 1 nut for the neg terminal of the battery(pos has one) and hose clamps. I needed hose clamps because putting that hos on those barb fittings were impossible. The directions say to mount the filter and pump with the fittings attached then put the hoses on. A more risky approach would be to cut the lines to length (Being the two short ones) mout it all to the pump then mount this would allow you to put the hoses on all the way without hose clamps. I mounted the relay or fuse box (whatever it was) to the fire wall in the corner driverside(in about a foot as you have plenty of cable and it looks clean. Put a bolt in the old hose line and left it in. Now for change..... The power response is amazing almost like I put a chip in. Cant hear the pump at all. And the trunk really runs different like its new again.

This is a real review of this system with no connection to the manufacturor. EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THIS>>>>INFACT DODGE NEEDES TO SEND THEIR ENGINEERS TO FASS FOR TRAINING ON HOW TO DESIGN A FUEL SYSTEM THAT WORKS WITH THEIR MOTOR

You got the 150 right? Can you hear the extra fuel being returned to the tank?

Did you get the FASS with the filters or without?

Pics ???

Ya i got the 150 and ya my truck sounds like it is taking a leak when you take the fuel cap off. The power and response is insane. Question : How can you run any mods on the old setup. Thalk about leaving power on the table. Get the full advantage out of your mods FEED YOUR ENGINE ITS THIRSTY!!!!!

Pics on the way give me a sec

DAMN YOU !!!

LOL ... yeah, the more and more I hear and read about this mod the more and more I want to do it. Saving the cash this time of year is a bitch though, but I WILL be doing it. It was just a toss up betweenthe 95 and the 150. I read somewhere where using a pump lager than you need will decrease the life of the pump. If the extra fuel gets returned to the tank though, I don't see how it would hurt it. I'd still like to hear more opinions on this one.

So did the pics from that link that I put up help you out? Did the install go similar to his? It's that one fitting up at the existing fuel pump that still has me puzzled a bit.
