Default TPS Problem resolved

For sometime now I have had a shifting problem with RPM serging up 200-300 RPM at 45 MPH in my 98.5 dodge 2500. I've lived with it for 6 months due to lask of cash. We'll I replaced my air fileter the other day and the problem went away. My filter wasn't in that bad of shape either. A $26.00 filter resolved my $200.00(+/-) problem. Not sure why but it did. So if you have a similiar problem don't replace your TPS until check your air filter.

I like this forum. I've gotton a lot of tips. THX guys.

Whoever replaced your air filter may have also (without you knowing it) cleaned your battery terminals as well. It has been my experience that dirty battery terminals will make your tranny do all kinds of weird stuff. Keep em clean !!
