Mine won't get up to temp at idle in the winter either. I beleive it is because the engine gives off as much heat as it creates.

It'll run 190 when I drive it, even after driving it, if I let it idle for about 10 to 15 min it'll drop back down to around 140-150.

With all of the homes that you have Steve, I don't think there's more than 7 miles between them all.

On a side note, you don't want to let it idle cool like that for too long. It is not good for these engines. Run it up to temp once you start it in cold weather.

I'm down to 3 (sold one) and your right... the farthest is 6 miles from home
