Made it Atlanta - mileage ...
Well we made it! Truck was awesome on the ride down, plenty of room for everyone. I filled up at the corner station and made it to Nashville Tennessee on 3/4 tank. I was in the Crazy Larry setting the whole way and averaged between 70-85 mph the entire trip. The overhead was reading 23.1 most of the time but the actual hand calculated worked out to 16.88mpg. Not bad considering I have the 4:10 rear. When we leave Sunday Morning I am switching out of Crazy Larry into Tow/Economy mode to see what that does for the ride home. On a side note, what the heck is with the Atlanta Aquarium being sold out? The one thing we had planned on this weekend trip and its a nogo. The last time we came down we planned to go to Six Flags but that was closed! Atlanta is not good to me :0(

I don't know how your going on your way home, but the Virginia Aquarium is AWESOME !!
Yeah we tried to purchase tickets online and they were sold out until tomorrow, which happens to be when we drive home. Were driving up to a town called Helen to do some shopping. Weeeee.
Just walked in. Knocked down 18.88mpg on the way home in Tow/Economy mode. Still think its pretty good considering the rear end gear and the fact that I only have 4000 miles on it, plus I averaged 80-85 most of the way!
so you came to my stomping grounds
the aquarium is always packed, I have season tickets and still have a problem getting in. . .it's worth it.

My brother ended up going the next day and said you could buy tickets at the door even though the internet site said you couldn't .. [8D] P.S. Waffle house kicks butt for breakfast!
I went to go see my dear ol' granny this weekend down in Albany, GA. I averaged 21.2 hand cal on the way down. On the way back to Memphis I got about 19 I mainly contrubute to the 3 + hours stop and go going into Atlanta. Was not fun at all. Trafic was backed up 30 miles south of the bypass and didnt clear up untill the bypass. No wreck, nobody broke down, no construction!!!! My plan was to run the brew on the way down and not on the way back to compare but I was so pissed when I finally got through Atlanta I just kept on going. Anyway, over 1000 miles this weekend on the cummins with no problems!!
We absolutley Flew all the way from Lawrenceville Ga to Louiseville Kentucky - 80-85 all the way. Once we hit Louiseville, it was stop and go pretty much all the way back to Chicago :0(
