differential fill
ive noticed a lot of u say to park on a hill when filling your differentials. In my owners manual and on the amsoil website it says do not fill differentials above a certain level, either a 1/4" or 3/4" below fill hole. Is it hard on my diff's to overfill them?

2002's still used the DANA's and did not convert over to the AAM's untill 03 for the 2/3500's. with the dana axels it is full when the oil starts comeing out the hole, AAM's actualy have a mark on the cover to show where the fill line is, about 1/4 inch below the opening of the fill hole.
it isnt too hard on components when you over fill by a small amount, however if you fill'er to the brim on a decline you will run the risk of frothing the oil. this is a bad thing to do since you are introduceing alot of air into the oil and the oil cannot pretect properly.
