Well, I got bored today . . .
I used the high temp duplicolor. You actually don't need to use high temp paint on the engine. I painted my chevy's engine with a regular rattle can and everything was just fine. This engine is eventually going to be all red just like the ISX. Not sure if it is going to stay that color red, I think I want it a little darker. I just happened to have some red from another project laying around.
Damn - I was just commenting on another thread about crazy friends doing this...Yikes, do I know you?
It sure looks good! I suspect we'll see a lot of folks doing this on those cold winter days when it's too cold to do anything else constructive...

It was raining and I didn't feel like changing my oil in the mud (truck wont fit in the garage) plus it was cheap
The rest of the engine is too dirty to paint. I'll have to steam it off at work.
