Default Amsoil oil bypass install coming up...

Kit is here, looks like it should be simple enough, time will tell. Since the pressure was on and I now have a cheepie digital camera i'll do a writeup on the install with pics.

I got the amsoil bk-11 (??) kit with the return line cap. $230~240 or so thru Diesel Nut Motorsports.

should be... the toughest part will be finding a mounting point and ensuring I have enough hose.

supposedly right next to the exsisting filter there is a port I can tap... just have to remove the plug and thread in the new port.

I've always seen people putting them on the frame rail, but I wonder how it would work if it were between the bumper and the air to air. Just thinking of easy access places.

Steve
What made you buy from Amsoil instead of Frantz, Oilguard, or FS2500 for example?!

I dont know about the location... if I cant find a good easy spot, I'll be askin for sure for suggestions.

Mike, ease of installation was the main factor, price was 2nd... I have the return line going to the oil filler cap. I didnt want to be drilling into the oil pan.
