45K is insane!! Beautiful truck for sure, but I would puke once I got it home and the payments really sank in. Don't do it, shop around. I bought my 06 nearly 3 months ago now. It stickered at 41,675 and I paid just over 31,000. No, its not the Mega Cab, but no way a Mega Cab is worth that much more cash. I learned a valuable lesson when I bought my truck. I originally went to the dealer to test drive an 04.5. Loved it, and only had 29k miles. Before I went to the dealer I had cut an ad from the paper that listed a new 06 for 31K and change. I had no intention of buying new because I just couldn't afford a 40k truck. After my test drive of the used truck I began my haggling and just could get them down. Then I pulled out the ad and asked if this truck was still available. Sure was and it happened to be the one parked in the Showroom right next to where we sat to haggle. I couldn't damn believe it. it was only 2k more than the used 04.5. Anyway, the lesson learned, go to your dealer only when they knock a chunk of change off of these trucks. I won't even dick with them when they are holding on to their BS pricing. They will come down at certain times of the year. Don't let your love for the vehicle force you to pay sticker or anything close. Buy an 06 now, and it it's an 07 you are after, wait until the 08's start rolling out. If the truck you are looking at is an 06, that price seems way high from what others are paying. Maybe the Mega Cabs are not being marked down quite like the QC's are. They are sweet, but in my opinion just not sweet enough to fetch that much of a price difference. Shop smart and don't let them screw you.....

I believe all members have access to a discount that translates roughly into a few hundred over invoice. Although my experience is with Costco, not sure Sam's has the same deal? Anyway, it's why you always see car or two displayed.
