Well, you're in the right place but I think most folks here raise their trucks so they probably have more experience with that. I know thats the case with me.

You could always turn your leafs around in the rear . Or remove some of the shims in the rear (if its a 4x4).

Like others posted, you will find more people lifting 2500/3500s here than trying to lower them.

Energy Suspensions might have a kit for you, but not sure.

well ..guess I go away ..Scram it is
I been looking at this forum for a couple of months ..

I see low to no experience here..
Lotsa post about kids stuff .
"I painted my motor " how do I check my oil " "what song are you listening to??"
What hobbies do you have "
"I like the sound of my turbo with "silencer ring removed " (no performance gain .)
Big bad Muffler delete ..blow smoke at traffic light " ..????? blew off a ford today "

dont forget the juvenile pictures

and most of all 4-wheel drive to get up my driveway!!

( most dodges are two wheel , just one in front and one in back ..( open diferentials ) that is If you didnt upgrade to a positrac/locker
desiels are the worst thing you can have if really off road .(too heavy of a engine ) I pulled many out with a old Bronco

they are made to pull your real 4-wheeler. to the woods

But I dont see any good technical threads,
all I see is "cafe racers" you know ..the guys that hang out at the cafe ..and talk about "what they have on their truck , how "high it is , that sits in the parking lot of the cafe.
and how much they spent on that gizmo that does nothing .
I wil leave it to you guys ...ENJOY

I think I will find a forum with real truck guys that actually use them ..

Hmmm, I had a really good response there but I realized that you've really already made you decision and to be honest if you're not happy why should you stay.

I will add though that i think you're quite wrong as I know a few people on here that do off-roading and rock crawling, tow huge loads and drive major miles for a living and quite honestly have a heck of a lot more technical knowledge about diesels than I will (though I do learn fast).

My question is, why would you actually want to lower your truck? Is it for performance reasons, looks or some reason for which I am unaware?

I don't think that anyone wants you to run off, there is a lot of knowledge on the forum. A lot of it has been discussed many, many times, sometime we need some other stuff to talk about. If ya want to leave, that's fine, free country.
