Got TST!!!
I bought the TST pmcr 47, for my 03 dodge. After installing I also put on the boost elbow as recomended. Boost levels still only 23-25psi. Do you guys have any idea's on why my boost is still not reaching mid to upper 30's?
On the other hand I am very excited about this box, It's potential is awesome. Put the box on 5/5 and it feels wicked unable to see it's potential due to early tranny slip. I am not worried to much as it will give me a reason to upgrade the tranny and get a pusher pump.

you also need to watch how high you turn it up on stock components, you can blow the turbo if you turn it up too high and get too much boost down low.
anyhoo, it sounds like you need to do some adjusting to your boost elbow. you just need to take an allen wrench and back out that screw a bit to bleed off pressure to keep the waste gate from opening up so soon.

why would the turbo pop if there is too much boost on the low end? it would seem to me that if the turbo can put out 35 psi and is regulated right, it shouldnt matter if it's at 1500 rpms or 2500 rpm...???
the drive pressure will increase too quick causeing the shaft in the turbo to bend. the stocker is natorious for this since the shaft is rather small. you can crank it up and have fun, but dont do it alot. barking the turbo is not a good thing to do as well. aftermarket turbo's generaly have shafts that are much more beefy and can handle the increased drive pressure better.
Ok I adjusted the boost elbow to the max, and now the boost averages 32-33psi full throttle 4th gear at 80mph. I talk to the tst guy and he states the lift pump may not be keeping up--> do to the limited fuel supply thus not making full boost. On that same run the egt's didnt get that high 1290 max at 3/3 up to 110 mph.
My question Is that if the lift pump was not keeping up wouldnt it fuel starve at full throttle for long periods of max throttle and wouldnt it cut out? 2nd the truck does not smoke at all even on 4/4 do your guys trucks smoke at the low settings on the tst. And could it be possible that the fuel filter is restricting the flow of the lift punp this much i have only had the truck for about a 1000 miles, and the odo 105k. I am going to change the filter today. see if that helps.

sounds like your running low on fuel pressure... mine smokes like a frieght train (ok exaduration) on 3/3 & up... noticeable smoke. the other thing to mention is when you have the low fueling turned up, you may run the rail pressure down early so the top end can never catch up. turn the low end # down 1 below the HP #...
yank that lift pump off for either a FASS setup or a walbro kit. . .you'll never run out of fuel then
I dont smoke untill I go above 4/4. at 7/7 people are steering out of the way of the cloud and 8/8 I'm shutting down intersections.
