I'm trying to figure out the bar situation as well. . .I have cloth and dont feel a thing. (6'3" 195lbs)
I also have a slight irritation with the cup holders, but I have a 6spd and the only time I have a problem is when I have a 1ltr dewski in the one closest to me it hits the stick in 4th and 6th. but I look past that seeing as nothing has fallen out of them yet.

I was watching tv the other day and it said that only 1% of american men are over 6'3". I just thought that was intrusting and i would share.
