If I understood correctly about what I read and have been told about the new CJ-4 oils, they should not be used in extended oil drain intervals as the oil will not hold up do to the changes that have been made to the oil.

 

I'll have to read up on that and see if that is right, but I think your right charles. . .just more of an excuse by the oil companies[:@]

 

I forgot to say they will also charge us more money for this new oil along the lines of $2.00 to $3.00 per gallon. They claim it took a long time and a lot of $$ to make this new oil or so they say anyway.

IIRC some states are fileing a lawsuit against the EPA about exhaust requirements on power plants and vehicles saying the requirements are too strict.

I doubt it will go thru, but it would be nice to pull the reighns on the EPA and get them to stop this crap.

 

i use the mobil delvac i take oil samples every time i cahnge my oil to make sure my air filter is working.the oil seem to do real well.
