Default 2003 CTD info

I am looking into getting a Dodge CTD and like the 3rd gen better than the older models, mostly because I want the 4 doors. I have seen a few for sale out here in Oregon where I live for around 25 grand 03 models with 70000-85000 miles on them. SLT Quadmodels, auto's, 4 wheel driveand to my knowledge all stock. Is that an ok price for that vintage pickup? Iam not really concerned with the miles on the engine, but are there anything pickup wise or transmission wise to be worried about at those miles? Let me know what you think. Thanks, Jeff

Unfortunately the price kind of depends on where you live in the USA. If your getting serious on buying one go to Kelly Bluebook and print out the trade-in value for the truck you are looking at and print it out and use it to negotiate your price. Nice to see another Oregon dude on the site

seems a little excessive seeing as you can get a brand new one for about 10-15K more.

If you live near Portland then the best place to look is at: http://www.towncountrydodge.com/index.htm?bhcp=1 The best time to buy is on the last day or two of any month as they sell over 140 truck a month and have met the quota. Any thing sold after the quota is gravy to them and they always have their quota sold before the last day of the month, so that is the main reason to buy at that time. I know first hand as I have bought 2 from them at that time of the month and have gotten great deals by waiting until the end of the month. Also at that time 90% of the salesmen take the day off as they made there big $$ so no pushy salesmen are around to bug a person.

Thanks for the info DBLR. I actually do live pretty close to Portland right now and will be moving to Hillsboro next week so that would be a pretty easy drive to see them.
