Ok so me and the wife decided to take a long weekend and go look at some property in eastern washington state (40 miles) from canadian border. About 400 miles from home and were scouting out a potential home in the mountains, lots of snow i was having a blast doin some 4 wheelin on the way to get to the various properties and then our real estate agent took us to a home we realy wanted to see..Off the main road 800 yard drive way with lots of iceI got up to the front of the house fine with lots of momentum and then i see a problem the entire driveway including the front parking area is covered in a 4 inch thick slab of ice .So tried to turn the truck ,no luck got 90 deg and started sliding sideways down this drive way about 6% grade but then it stopped and i thought ok lets go see what i can do. The owner of the housea realy cool dude named George said i have a real problem becausehe hasent ben down the drive in a week for that reason AGHHH .So i have the wife and realtorstand out the way andsee if i canget out of this i start to move and do nothing but slide into a large pole SLAM there goes the rear door behind me smashed into the pole then the sliding continues to crush the door and then i crushed and bent the drivers door on a huge rock then the only way for me to get off the rock is for george to winch me of with his and my straps and in the process bent and folded thedriver door and then we saw the whole cab bottom on front driver side is crushed and totaly fu##ed and remember the whole trucks weight is onthe front cab corner.so not much of a vacation and now i have to callINS co and deal with them[:@]ok will post pics tommoroww when it is light

Sorry to hear about your truck and it does really suck. In this moment try to remember there are things that happen in life that can and cannot be fixed. This is one of those things that can be fixed, you could even get a new 2007 truck. Sometimes thats what it takes for me to get over it.

Sorry to hear that brother.

At least nobody's hurt, so that's good at least.

I have this 3 hit rule. If the truck get hit, banged, bashed, or jacked up more than 3 times, IT'S GONE!

Sorry to hear about your mishap. I know its too late now, but when I am going to the snow, I always carry a 50lb bag of play sand in the bed. If I start slipping to much (and if its safe) I just bust out some sand and that seems to help a bit.
