I have the same exact set-up. I haven't tuned the antenna yet, but it works pretty good. I'm sure once I get it tuned, I'll be able to reach MARS just like Demon can with his set-up.

Cobra 29 NW ST, mounted on the pulldown cup holder.(Never used it anyway, I have a holder velcrowed to the fold down storage compartment.) Wilson 1,000 AT in the center of the cab top. Works great for a 4 watt radio. I may add a 200 watt Lin. to it when I get the time.

I have an Icom F521 VHF 50 watt commercial/ham radio (NOT CB) in my 98.5 dually. I mount a 5/8 wave whip on the left front stake pocket area. Works good.
