Default goofball dog

Well, went hiking with my oldest today. did a 9 mile RT to the American River and back. my goofball dog decided he wanted to chase a lizzard or something and bolted over the side of the trail down a very steep embankment. he soon found out how far over his head he had gone as he could not stop himself for at least 100 feet. good thing too... if he went to the bottom, I dont think he would have made it as it was a long ways down. he did manage to catch himself and crawl back up to the trail. Needless to say he was on the leash while we were along the cliffs.

On the way back poor Louie ran out of gas... we stopped for a drink with about 1.5 miles to go and I'll be damned if he didnt plop down for a nap. Short lived as we were only stopped for a minute. He was so tired when we got back to the truck I had to lift him into it. (glad he's lost weight!!! he's dropped about 5~10 lbs since his peak). On the way home I had to kick on the AC to help cool him down. Now he's passed out (still!) so much for a guard dog... lol

I think you need to get a job. Wouldn't mind getting out in the woods again sometime, but this training **** is driving me nuts. As for the dog, a buddy of mine just got a black lab pup. Its about 5months old now and its either full out or passed out. Built a kennel for her yesterday, how it'll keep her in the yard.

p.s. steve have you seen the whl standings lately???[8D]guess whos going to wednesdays game on the bosses wallet

LMAO!!! trust me, i'm already working mostly full time on a marketing campaign for RE. We went to the Thunder game last Friday... we lost 3-2 IIRC. it was still fun anyway.

I've been to 40+ tips games, and have never seen them lose. They should pay me to go, or at least give me center ice season tickets. Did you watch any of the allstar games???

No kidding, you would have figured they could have got some good defense on the allstar team, 11 goals in a game is unbelievable.

I think you missed it... there has been no defence in the all star game for 3 or 4years... league rules. did you notice there was not 1 check? not 1 hit?...

not one penalty in 4 or 5 years. Also bs that every team has to be represented. I wanna see to top players, not the top player of each team.
