Default Just a Few Questions

So I just bought my 07 cummins. What should I do? Im planning on using drews brew with the next fill up, which judging by my mileage so far, wont be for a little while. I want to get a bed liner as well, what do you suggest? Roll on? Spray On? Drop in? And I am also thinking of replacing my muffler. Would I get better gas mileage and more power becuase i can breathe?

I would use either Rotella 15w-40 Desiel oil or Amsoil 15w-40 oil. You can't beat a spray on bed liner. They do a little more prep if you do it professionally and it will last longer. Bully dog has really good exhaust and intake systems.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from drop in bed liners. As you drive they shift and move slightly and eventually end up removint the paint from the bed of your truck. This in turn results in rust spots over time. Go with a good spray in like Line-X or Rhino liner or something of that sort, you can even have them get clost to matching you paint color for a few extra bucks.

I havent done anything to mineenginewise other than replace the dropin filter.
One of the first "mods" I did was get LineX sprayed in the bed and over the rails.
The hardest part was sitting in the waiting area and hearing the grinding of metal and knowing that was on my three week old truck.

I actually kinda like my drop in. It makes it easier for me to slide stuff in and out, but then again I have the tonneau cover.

As far as any other mods go, I'd check with the dealer first. I'd hate to see you toss a brand new warranty out of the window, especially if you have the NEW diesel engine.
