The nice thing with the valve is you can drain right to emptyjugs instead of pouring it out of the drain pan into gallon jugs so you can take to be recycled.
But then you miss outon achance of pouring oil all over the place
Here's some pictures of the valve installed after my first old change, first one is looking from the passengers side
Second one is looking from the front, if you look 2 inches to the left of the damper end, you can see the nipple, I'm shooting low to high so the nipple is even with the front end

Man, I like that drain. I have been thinking about it and now I will get one. I was worried about having the thing ripped off while off-road, but it appears that it is safely tucked away. Not that I off-road my truck often, but I do take it on some off-road adventures while hunting. From the pictures it looks fairly safe. Thanks for the pics, appreciate your efforts.....
