Any 4x4 with part a time system will bind or shudder when making sharp turns. Both front & rear axles are numerically locked togeather and when making a sharp turnthe front & rear wheelsare are running different base circles. The front wheels want roll faster (farther) than the rears and you feel the front and rear fighting each other. This is not a good situation and could result in driveline breakage on hard dry surfaces. Also this torque tends to apply the clutches in the diff id it is LS.

Yes, they will all bind on hard surfaces, especially in 4 low and good traction. But, with a locker, IT WILL NOT TURN. I've had buddies bust the damn sector shafts on the steering boxes trying to do that. With a locked front end, the only good way to turn it while you have traction, is to use hydraulic steering, like with a ram. The standard steering box can't take that kind of abuse.
With open diff's, yes the truck will hop and pop, but you'll still be able to turn, you just bind up the u-joints a bit. Lockers up front are a whole different animal.
