YEAH BABY! THAT's WHAT I WAS LOOKIN' FOR!!! [sm=drooldude.gif]

Can a truck sound...................................angry?

'Cause this thing sounds just flat mean now. [sm=badbadbad.gif]

I put the Aero right at the downpipe, 24" section of pipe, then the 36" Diamond Eye, out to the 5" tip.

Took it for the same loop as the other night and this thing sounds sweet now.

Idle sounds sweet. Has a nice, deep, throaty tone. Not obnoxious......just nice!

Very little interior drone; only going uphill at low RPM (less than 1500).

Over 2K she opens up nice. Over 2500.......yeah baby! Git some.

I even got lucky enough for a Power Choke to pull up next to me in front of the Home Depot at the bottom of the big hill going toward Auburn. Just happened to have the Attitude on 4/5, tow/haul mode onand......................MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Buuuubye!
[sm=gears.gif]

And the whole time I watched my overheadlie-o-meter go up.

It was dark by the time I was done. I'll put it up on the lift and get a few pics tomorrow. But for now...........I need to go touch myself.[:-]

Hey jakeman711......Welcome to DF!
Do us a favor and fill out your signature (go to My Profile, up there at the top header) so we know what you're driving. It'll help get you more specific info if we know what you have.

Some guys are using the Aero 3535 (3.5") or 4040 (4") . Theses are the non-resonated ones.

Others are using the XL models. These are the resonated ones.

I just depends on the sound you want.

I'm using a 4040XL (4" resonated). I didn't want silly loud or droning in the cab, so I went with this one. It was still loud as all hell and droned like mad, until I put that second muffler behind it.

With Mayfair being gone, I figured someone would jump on that.

I already had a few folks here that have CTD's that commented on it. One of the guys came running into the fight house and starts flippin' out, "Damn that thing sounds sweet. Whatcha do to it?"

So most of my morning has been talking trucks. Not a bad way to spend the day.

Okay.....I got around to getting the pics. It's been raining the last couple days, so it looks a little nasty.
