Default Got an Aero Muffler installed

I just installed an Aero Muffler last weekend and love it(where the cat used to be). I previously had straight exhaust and I love the sound of the AERO 4040. It is still loud but took off the obnoxious sound when I really get on it andcruising at 75. I am going thru the first tank to see if I will see any imporvement on MPG's. I will keep everyone posted.

I should have a little better vid of mine today. I made a mount to stick in the stake bed pocket that puts my camera off to the side of the bed and points down at the pipe. This should be interesting.

I wish I had it on this morning. I parted traffic, like Moses parting the Red Sea. Friggin blacked out F150 decided he was feeling frisky this morning and got handed his AR$E. The traffic behind me was pulling into the left and right lanes to get out of the smoke.

DAMN IT! I forgot my damn USB Cable to hook this thing up.

The mount worked great, got a few minutes of driving vid pointed right at the exhaust. Up above 20 MPH or so, all I got was wind noise so I'll have to work on that one. But up until that point, you can definitely hear it. Sounds good from launch up until the wind noise drowns it out.

I got behind some traffic (doing 30 in a 50), so all I have are a few puffs of smoke as I got pissed off at the damn tourists.

LOL ... that's awesome !!

Sadly, I can't make my truck chuck out the black cloud. Mine is still pretty much stock.

Dont feel too bad,, mine is not stock and I still have a hard time making smoke. It runs like a spotted ape though.

Okay, here ya go. This is the 4040XL with the 36" Diamond Eye.

This is about 1:30 long. It's only 1 meg, so it'll only take a sec. Not real great quality, just to keep it small.

It's a combo of the first one in park with a little burp and then a drive with my new bed mount. I was in a little traffic, so I couldn't really get on it. Near the end is a little black burp when I had a little space between me and traffic.

All I did was us a piece of wood that fit the stake pocket snugly, a piece of 3/4" plywood for the extension off the side and a 30* angled piece of wood to tilt the camera toward the pipe. I also put a little deflector on the back so the camera didn't get smashed by anything.

Dude that turned out reall good !! I think it did a great job of capturing the sound. Unfortunately the wind got the better of it once you got going.

Didn't you remove your silencer ring yet? I couldn't really hear the turbo.
