Spray in Bedliner
So i NEED to get one of these now because my bed is just getting thrashed. Anyways, I am looking into two different kinds. The first one I looked at was a Line-X because they are pretty much the leaders in the industry. The second was one called reflex. Now I have heard that reflex will grip a lot better and hold something in place better than line-x but heard it doesnt hold up as well. Anyone have any first hand knowledge? I know somebodys gotta have one
I've had several different kinds in a few different trucks.
I had Line-X in my last truck. It is a great liner, but it was a little too hard for what I needed. It'll handle all the abuse in the world and is great if you are gonna be throwing bricks and stuff in it all day long. But......I have my dogs in the back of the truck alot and the texture of it was enough to rough up his feet. It also doesn't have the cushioning that some of the others have.
I've also had a Husky (nice, but a little TOO soft). A Speedliner (very similar to the Line-X).
My favorite so far has been the Rhino. For me it had a great compromise of thickness, durability and hardness. I beat the crap out of it and it never showed a mark. And it didn't cut up my dogs feet <------gotta make sure my buddy is happy back there.

I had the Speedliner in the 97 gasser for over 4 years and it got thrashed bad and still looked good when I got rid of the truck. I have heard good things about Rhino as well.
I have Rhino liner in my dodge now and it looks good. I ran a Rhino liner in my last truck for years and it was great. Hauling rocks, motorcyles puking oil and gas on it. No problem. The sun did seem to dry it out a little. I want to call Rhino liner and ask if there is a conditioner to put on it sometimes. In the truck before that we had Arma tough in it. It was ok but I like the texture of the Rhino better.
I've had the Reflex in 3 different trucks, soon to be 4, and it's been great. Thick enough that you won't tear it but still relatively soft so that things won't slide. Kinda feels like ground up tire. Only thing I've had problems with is it starting to peel off on the tailgate. No problem though because reflex is guarenteed and they'll respray it if you want.
got line-x on my rockers. . .been there for about 2 years and the stuff doesnt even show any abuse of rocks hitting it. check out my gallery for pics.

If you just want it to look good and don't ever use the bed much then Rhino is OK. But it can be cut real easy and will fade in less then a year or mine did anyway and it only had a warranty from the dealer who installed it and not nation wide like Linne-X. So the liner of choice is Line-X as every one I've seen 2-4 years later looks great and does not fall a part nor cut easily.
