Default Mag-Hytec stuff is in ... tons of pics !!

You guy's, I got my Hytec stuff in and it is PHATT !!!!! I love this stuff !! I was a litte back and forth about ordering the pans only because I couldn't see why a pan costs 300 smacks. Shelling out that kinda cash for a pan just didn't make sense to me. Once I got them though, I could see where the cost goes. The quality is top notch. They weigh a TON, and everything is there. Bolts, wrenches, instructions, everything needed to do the job. I really like them a lot. Check em out ...

Very cool. Those pans look like they should be installed in an M1, lol. So when do you think you will have the time to install them. I would be interested on your thoughts on the installation process when you are finished.

Did you go with Royal Purple for the Trans and Diff fluid?

Great pics! Thanks! I believe the tranny pan comes with a new filter? correct? Also, did you just end up draining and replacing the fluids for the tranny and diff?

Great job on the install!

I got my pans from a Mag-tec distributer friend of mine here in Philly. The trans pan didn't come from Mag with a filter so I had to pick one up while I ws out picking up the fluids.

I just drained the fluid from the pan and replaced it. We didn't get into trying to drain all of the fluids. My friend is getting one of those trans fluid sucking machines so I was going to do a flush then, but after hearing a couple of guy's here warn me about those machines, I think I'll hold off and just drain and fill it more often.

Does anyone see a reason why I can't drain and fill the trans fluid without changing the filter every time?

YEP !!!

The rear cover has a drain hole at the bottom, a dipstick, and a small hole in it for a gauge. The trans pan has a drain hole and a gauge hole as well.

I'm tellin ya dude, these things are sweet !!

Those are some slick add-ons my friend. They have a tough look to them.

Now, if only the truck had a different driver. Then all would be good.......LOL.

Good luck with your ride, buddy.
