jake you drilled out the actual vacuum line????

 

The line is only in a slight vaccum when the engine is decelerating. other than that it is under pressure.I drilled the line about a half inch from where it goes into the compressor housing. Thats where my guys told me to do it at.

 

yea well im used to vw's with vacuum at the wastegate.. i might have to try that see if i can feel a diffrence.

 

If you do, let us know what happens. I wish I ran mine longer without the chip so I could give better info. All I know is she screams at 38 psi boost.

 

i deff gonna try it... but im gonna wait till i get my booast gauge comes so i can have some visual satisfaction along with the seat of the pants satisfaction.. or atleast know if it actully made a diffrence or if it was just in my head.

small picture, but it looks like it. On the 24v or at least mine, it's a metal line.
