its time to change the oil on my dodge ram srt-10, first time i do the oil change..what kind of oil and oil filter should i use, it has 64,xxx miles.

As for the weight, that is what the 04 manual says, but there are many running different viscosities out there.

Should also note, I switched back to a Mopar filter. The M1 (as well as a few other brands) cause a whine at startup.

 

thanks, on my oil cap it says 0w,40..should i listen to that?

 

You must have a 05 or 06? Yes, many do use that.
