That just helps prove my point, why put something that important at such risk if it is unnecessary.[sm=smiley29.gif]

Just to fill you guys in, DC isnt as dumb as it looks, They dont just make one concept, prototype etc. they make 5, Kinda sounds like bs but they do! I personally have seen not one, not two but three different SRT-10's Quad Cab's at the DC Proving grounds, not only are they real, they are bad ***! One Red, Black and White! My buddy at DC got me in to sneek a peek last fall. I dont know if they will become production, but I would definitly buy me one! I have seen a pic somewhere also of one not sure were though.

Should I feel vindicated now? It's still not back in the guys driveway, I look for it everyday, but its not there. I was thinking about the comments 71RR made. I saw somewhere else on this board that you can buy the 22" SRT10 wheels from a dealership. But why would anyone do that? I guess I just don't get it. You would think that as soon as a guy in a Lightning pulled up next to you, you would look like a poseur. Personally, I would rather make do with what I got then try to front like I got more. IMHO.

Amen to that. I guess it's the same reason that people buy SRT-4 front ends off of eBay to make their Neon look like an SRT-4...[:'(]

There are lots of people that want the looks and performance of a better model, or just one of the two. And if they cannot afford the good version to begin with, then they will buy a lesser model and make it a clone. Mustangs are big for this type of thing, they want a Cobra or a Saleen, so they will buy a GT and try and make it into one of the others. It's also like taking a Plymouth Satellite and making it into a Roadrunner or a GTX. Clone cars have been around for a really long time. I'm not into it myself, I really can't stand it, but some are.

I'm still not sure of why anyone would want it to look like something it isn't. If you want a sportier look, then you can do that without posing as something else. I can wear lingerie just like my wife, but when it comes down to it....nevermind....a guy my size shouldn't talk about wearing lingerie[:'(]
