Since Dodge announced last week the 2005 RAM SRT-10 Quad Cab, does anyone know if Dodge is going to offer a 2005 RAM SRT-10 Regular Cab in automatic?

Nope, regular cab models will still only come standard w/ the Hust 6-speed manual!

Its on the dealer connect site, that links dealers to Chrysler Group info for all 2005 model vehicles!

Just curious how you would have access to that...everyone I had talked to at Dodge and Chrysler so far have told me that they do not know...

butcontrary to what those links say,i also am showing only a standard with the V10 for 2005.

 

I know two guys who are salesman at the local dealership, and I had them look up the 2005 list after I heard about the upcoming Quad Cab SRT-10 a few months ago. Looked at the options list on the regular cab model and no automatic tranny was optional!

If you don't believe me, fine!

What was the idea behind this truck, and why the automatic. Seems like that would take the fun out of it.

 

The Quad Cab model was created to make up for all the ticked off Viper owners who bought one, and couldn't tow their cars w/ it, because of the 900lbs rating and void of warranty. The Quad Cab SRT-10 is setup just for the fact.
